Calendar updated! ( bottom of page ) All Royals games and Command games are in the calendar. Sporting KC games updated through the month of June. The rest of the their games, tennis team Explorers, Independent baseball team T-Bones will be updated later in the week.

Sporting KC Home Opener June 9th

Sporting KC (formerly Wizards) fans, the day is almost upon us. Sporting KC's new stadium is now complete and the first home game is Thursday, June 9th at 9 P.M.nagainst rival Chicago Fire. Their new stadium, Livestrong Sporting Park is in a class of its own and is a state of the art home field. There will be many festivities before the match celebrating the inaugural home opener. (check below for details) Tickets are still available and can be purchased from their site. Come out and support Sporting KC and the inaugural home opener at Livestrong Sporting Park!!



June 9th, 2011 Schedule of Events
5:00 p.m.   Members’ Club opens for Members Stand ticket holders
5:30 p.m.   Sprint Plaza opens for all ticket holders
6:00 p.m.   Live at LSP, presented by INK, begins in Sprint Plaza, featuring Brody Buster Band and Republic Tigers
9:00 p.m.   Sporting Kansas City vs. Chicago Fire preceded by God Bless America by Whiteman Air Force Base, National Anthem by Ida McBeth and stealth flyover.
11:00 p.m. Commemorative LIVESTRONG Sporting Park prints distributed at exits
Members’ Club open until 2:00 a.m. for registered members
