Royals 3 Game Series With Cleveland Indians

Royals will begin a short three game series, Friday against the Indians. Not many home games left, so make you catch the Royals before the year ends! Royals have a big promotional weekend and here is the list.

Saturday, 6:10 PM September 3 - Viva Los Royals, 610 Saturday, Joakim Soria Bobblehead
Join the Royals for our annual Viva Los Royals celebration on Saturday, September 3. The event presented by Sprint will feature pre-game festivities celebrating Hispanic heritage for all fans to enjoy.The pre-game party begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Outfield Experience (inside Gates A & E at Kauffman Stadium) prior to the game at 6:10 p.m. Fans can enjoy live music on the Outfield Experience Stage by MRM and Kallejeros De La Cumbia.New for 2011, the Royals present the Salsa Showdown. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite salsa from participating local Mexican restaurants. The contest will take place inside Gate E from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. In addition, the first 20,000 fans through the gates will receive a Joakim Soria Bobblehead presented by Mission Foods. Attend special pregame festivities in the Outfield Experience with the Royals and 610 Sports Radio. 610 Saturdays include radio remotes with 610 Sports Radio personalities, live music, special guests and activities for fans of all ages. Once you enter the gates at Kauffman Stadium with your game ticket, just head over to the special pregame entertainment zone located in the Outfield Experience stage area near the BBQ pit. .

Sunday, 1:10 PM September 4 - Family Funday, Sprint Fun Run, Autograph Afternoon, US Toy Coupon
Autograph Afternoons will feature a one-hour autograph session with select Royals alumni at Gate A near the Royals Hall of Fame from noon - 1 p.m. Alumni scheduled to appear on Sept. 4 are John Wathan, John Mayberry and Dennis Leonard. Alumni appearances subject to change. Fans will receive a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $30 or more at U.S. Toy.
